The Martinez family got inspired most by Ka’u coffee, from the process making, to the people working within and of course the quality and rich flavor. With a clean profile, ideal moisture content (10.6%), and a cupping score of 9 for aroma and flavor, these beans represent the richness and excellence of American-grown coffee. Every sack is carefully inspected and certified to ensure you receive a premium cup that is bold, authentic, and truly Made in the USA. 

This certificate, issued by the State of Hawaii Department of Agriculture on January 13, 2025, verifies that 8,000 lbs of 100% Kaʻu coffee from MTZ Kaʻu Coffee Farms was officially sampled and inspected. The beans have a 10.6% moisture content, passed the cup test for aroma and flavor, and were graded Hawaii Prime. The lot is certified as genuine Hawaiian-grown coffee and labeled with the official State of Hawaii stamp.
